Workshop Venues
Two workshops will take place at the University of Zadar – New Campus: Room 125 and Room 117. The third workshop will take place at CODE Hub Zadar, located at a separate venue nearby [Ul. dr. Franje Tuđmana 24d, map].
- Room 125: Workshop I. Generative AI and Law: Copyright Challenges from Training Data to AI Outputs
- Room 117: Workshop II. Whose journal is it anyway? Workshop on journal ownership
- CODE Hub Zadar: Workshop III. Turning scientific journals into semantic knowledge systems using artificial intelligence
Room 117 is also the main conference hall, where the main conference sessions will take place.

Research Library of Zadar Tour

Discover the Research Library of Zadar and learn more about its collections, history and role in preserving the city’s written heritage.
Meeting point 1: 17:00 (after SESSION 2), in front of the conference venue – for those who would like to walk to the Research Library together.
Meeting point 2: 17:30, Research LibraryofZadar, Ante Kuzmanića 3 [map] – for those joining us directly at the library.
The tour is included in the conference registration fee.
Zadar UNESCO World Heritage Tour
Thursday, 10 September · 18:00–19:00
Join a guided walk through Zadar’s historic centre and discover its UNESCO-listed Venetian fortifications and some of the city’s most important landmarks.

The tour is included in the conference registration fee.
Conference Dinner

PUBMETRun 2026
Friday, 11 September · 8:00
Start the final conference day with the traditional PUBMETRun, a relaxed 5 km morning run (or a walk!) through Zadar.
